Matzuo size 8 and size 4 Circle hooks on Silver minnow lure Holographic lure.First clip is size 8 circle hook on 6lb Nanofil,next clips are the # 4 on 4lb suffix ice braid in high viz orange.All but one of these fish were caught trolling
I recommend this lure and approve it for catching a very picky eater,the Peacock bass.None of these fish were caught off beds... all were feeding.The first was swimming in a school and the other two were under a bridge just waiting for a fish to swim by. The holographic lure actually mimics a fish so well it fooled the Peacock bass into biting! This is something you can't do with most lures.
This is a good lure to catch Peacock bass and I recommend it for our Miami Anglers. Its a shallow running lure,peacock bass prefer to feed near the surface so its perfect.
